The Willie and Vivian Gaddis Foundation is excited to extend an invitation to apply for one of our six scholarships to be awarded the 2024-2025 academic year!
Awards are available based on the availability of funds, with the next round of scholarships proposed to be available in 2024.
This scholarship opportunity is open to members of the Columbus metropolitan community, including former Jump Start College tour scholars. The student must complete the application and essay. Parents view this as a growth opportunity.
We propose to award a minimum of three (3) primary, $1000.00 scholarships, and four (4) $500 (minimum) book scholarships as follows:
- The Willie Lee Gaddis Scholarship
- The Vivian Ann Gaddis Scholarship
- The Debra Ann Gaddis Scholarship
- The Marvin and Essie (Davis) Thompson Legacy Book Scholarship
- The Willie and Eunice (McGee) Gaddis Legacy Book Scholarship
- The Ruby (Moncrief) Gaddis Legacy Book Scholarship
This is a non-renewable scholarship, designated for students enrolled full-time in an accredited 2-or 4- year college or university. If selected for an award, student will be required to provide verification of enrollment and matriculation for Fall 2024.
All funds will be submitted directly to the Financial Aid office of the designated institution.
