Born 91 years ago in rural Mississippi, his parents were sharecroppers. He remembers picking cotton and all of the horrific experiences of living in the segregated south. He purposed in his heart, to own his own home, start his own business, marry and have two girls and two boys. God blessed him to live and achieve his dream, though he doted on three girls and one boy. On March 16, 1971, he and Mom founded Gaddis and Son, Incorporated, a concrete construction company that is now owned by Randal who manages it with the help of one of his sons. We dedicate this scholarship to helping recipients build, construct and live a purpose driven life.
